One day Miss Erveen called up Miss Amber and said, "I'm going to retire this year." Well she had been saying that for a while, but after 60 wonderful years at age 82 Miss Erveen did retire. She then ended up teaching for Miss Erveen for 8 years. This is where Miss Amber met Miss Erveen Serra. Pete Pellinen directed them to the Range Academy of Dance. They lasted all 6 years of high school dancing at school and community events. So she did! That is how the Downtown Dancers began. After the performance a wonderful math teacher came up to her and said "You should get a group of your friends together to dance!" During a school assembly in 7th grade she rustled up enough courage to do a solo in front of the entire school (grades 7 - 12!!) to Bon Jovi's "It's My Life". We would love for you to come join our family and dance with us! Check out our "home"!įrom the age of 12 Miss Amber knew that she wanted to be a dance teacher and open her own studio. ![]() ![]() Whether that includes dancing at the collegiate level, performing at the professional level, or simply dancing to enjoy it. ![]() With dedication and hard work we aim to help each dancer follow his/her dreams. To help instill a strong love for the artistry of dance, we are building and maintaining a program that promotes safety, self-confidence, and strength. He had a great perspective on life and a wonderful sense of humor.Myron is survived by his wife Connie (Alleva) Norman and their 6 children, Michael (Susan Conrad) Norman of Surprise, AZ, Mary (Richard) Jackson of Sun City, AZ, Susie (Mike) Custard of Mesa, AZ, Katherine (Kerry) Zuehlsdorff of Bloomington, MN, Jim Norman of Peoria, AZ and David (Anne-Marie) Norman of Peoria, AZ, his brother, Jerry (JoAnn) Norman of New Hope, MN, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.A Memorial Service will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services at 11:00 A.M. He was a loving and devoted family man, loyal friend, respected businessman and patriot. Myron was not only close to his own family but was very close to Connie's side of the family too.Myron will be remembered as he lived and will be missed by many people. He also loved deer hunting, taking long weekends to the cities with our Mom. He loved sharing stories of his hockey days in Virginia. Some of these businesses included candy and confection distribution, Klinx Bar and Kap n Kork Liquor.After raising their family and traveling the world together, Myron and Connie retired to Sun City, AZ in 1989 where they also became successful owners of Chum's Lounge until 2004. embarked with Connie on an incredible life journey that included lovingly raising a family of six children and owning several successful businesses in Virginia, MN. Marines where he served honorably in the Korean War. He adored our Mother.In 1953, Myron joined the U.S. ![]() They were married in Januin Bremerton, WA and recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary. In 1953 Myron met the love of his life, Connie Alleva of West St. He was a 1952 graduate of Virginia High School. was born in Virginia, MN to Myron and Rita (Lo Presti) Norman of Virginia, MN. Myron Norman Jr., 83, of Sun City, AZ, and formally of Virginia, MN, died peacefully at his home on Februsurrounded by the love of his family.Myron Jr.
